Laser Hair Removal: Both Mary and Nancy use laser therapy as part of permanent hair therapy. Laser therapy works by sending a short burst of laser light onto an area of unwanted hair. The laser light destroys the hair follicle with a series of treatments. Treatments are much faster than electrolysis, especially for clients with a lot of unwanted hair. The procedure is both safe and effective. The skin is further protected during treatment by a dynamic cooling process whereby a cryogen is sprayed onto the skin, dulling the upper layers and providing the patient increased comfort.

Electrolysis: Electrolysis: Both Mary and Nancy use electrolysis as a form of permanent hair removal for those clients that will not benefit from laser hair removal or who simply prefer electrolysis over laser therapy. Electrolysis is a procedure that uses sterile, disposable needles. The thin wire filament (needle) is inserted into the hair follicle. A slight amount of heat destroys the papilla and most of the follicle so that each hair can then be easily and permanently removed. This procedure will need to be repeated until all unwanted hair is removed. Although more time consuming, electrolysis is definitely worth the time and effort. Clients with small amounts of unwanted hair, blond or gray hair or very dark skin may benefit most from electrolysis.
